During the period of "Private Tainan Junior College of Home Economics":

• In the 1980s, the 2-yesrs associate degree of the day school was established, with 2 classes of students.

• In 1981, the 2-yesrs associate degree of the continuing education department was established, with 2 classes of students.

"Tainan Women's College of Art and Technology" period:

• In 1986, the school was restructured into "Tainan Women's College of Art and Technology".

• In 1987, the undergraduate program was restructured and the "Department of Interior Design" was established, recruiting:

  • One class of the 2-yesrs undergraduate program of the day school.

  • One class of the 2-yesrs undergraduate program of the continuing education department.

  • One on-the-job class of the 2-yesrs undergraduate program of the continuing education department .

• In 1988, one class of the 4-years undergraduate program of the the day school was established, and the recruitment of the 2-yesrs associate degree of the day school was stopped.

• In 1989, one class of the 4-years undergraduate program of the continuing education department was established, and the recruitment of the 2-yesrs associate degree of the continuing education department was stopped.

• In 1990, the recruitment of the 2-yesrs undergraduate program of the continuing education department was stopped.

• In 1991, the recruitment of on-the-job class of the 2-yesrs undergraduate program was stopped.

"Tainan University of Technology" period:

• In 1995, the name of the school was changed to "Tainan University of Technology".

• In 1995, the 4-years undergraduate program of the continuing education department began to recruit boys.

• Since the 1996 academic year of the Taiwan, the 5-years associate degree program has stopped enrolling students.

• From the 1997 school year, 4-years undergraduate program of the day school began to recruit boys.

• In 2011, the 20st grade students of the 5-years associate degree program graduated, and the 23-year junior college education system ended.
